Language Arts
In Language Arts, when it was time to switch everyone sat down in their seat and took out their homework. When Ms. Booth looked at all of the homework we started to talk about our famous people. For example, we talked about Rosa Parks, Nelson Mandela, Abraham Lincoln, etc. She said we were going to start our introduction today, but before that we all took out our chromebooks and went on a website called clever.com. We were going to take a test, but the people that aren't in Ms. Booth's homeroom couldn't log in so we decided not it do it. After everyone got off the website, Ms. Booth said to research the famous people one more time to find quotes. When everyone was done, we put the chrome books away. After we put them away, we watched a couple of brain pop videos about Albert Einstein. Then, we all went out for snack. When we got back from snack, it was time to switch to math.
Math
First thing we in class was our warm up (Problem of the Day and Common Core Quick Check). Then Ms. Booth handed out our timed test for the next two days (doubled-sided). We corrected our warm-up and last night's homework (Interpret the Remainder My Homework Lesson 11 and a Multiplication and Division Worksheet, use CUBES). Then, we took our timed test (1 minute, 20 questions). We took out our math workbook to learn Lesson 12 (Independent Practice and Problem Solving). Lesson 12 was about interpreting remainders.
Then we toe out our homework and Ms. Booth handed out our Multiplication Review (1 sided&Homework). Use CUBES!
