Language Arts
Today when we started language class we took out our homework and read while Ms. Booth checked them as usual. We read for a quite long time.  Then we corrected our own homework and Ms. Booth gives us the correct answers.  In Ms. Booth's classroom there's a chart that has a list of jobs and we raised our hand if we wanted to do it.  She picked two students for each job.  Next, we took out our article about '' A Long and Difficult Journey Across The Atlantic''.  We read the article ourselves  and annotated.  Ms. Booth said if we finish annotating we can read it to our partner and show each other what we annotated.  There were also four questions and we answered it with our partner. When we came back from snack we switched to math.

Math
In math, the first thing we did was the warm up. The problem was “A shelf is 2.6 meters long. Each box is 0.45 meters long. The shelf will only fit one layer of boxes. What is the greatest number of boxes that will fit on the shelf?” The answer was 5 boxes. The first question for the common core quick check was 15.6 x 10. The answer was 160. The second problem was 8.2 x 4. The answer was 32. The third problem was 19.5 x 5. The answer was 100. The fourth problem was 15.85 x 7. The answer was 112. The fifth problem was “A can of marbles costs $0.29. A bag of buttons costs $0.42. Estimate the total cost of 3 cans of marbles and 2 bags of buttons.” The answer was $1.70.  After that, we DIDN’T correct yesterdays homework . We took out our math books and did lesson 3, which was multiplying decimals by whole numbers. We did pages 391-394 in class. The homework pages were 395-396, Ms. Booth also passed out a simplifying fractions worksheet. At 11:40, Ms. Booth had to leave for a meeting and we had a substitute named Mr. Green. Then when we got back from lunch we played SumDog until we switched to Social Studies. That was what we did in math.

Language Arts
When we came into class we took out our homework and started reading to about 9:00. After we read, everyone corrected there grammar workbook. We started reading a book about sailors on the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria. After we learned about the sailors, we took out our Tiger Rising packet and the book. That was all about our 64 day of school.

Math
In math, we started the day with our daily warm-up. The warm-up was a question with two parts and it was a problem-solving question. After correcting the warm-up, we corrected our homework. One worksheet was about simplifying fractions, and the other one was about the lesson we learned the day before. It was about estimating products of whole numbers and decimals. Next, we did a timed multiplication test and quickly corrected it with the person next to us. Afterwards, we did lesson two of our math book that was about using models to multiply. Furthermore, we got to work on our Performance Task as a table. Finally, we got our homework and a worksheet of simplifying fractions, like yesterday. Overall, the day was like any other fun day of math.

Language Arts
Hi am Ali and I will tell you about what we did in language arts first we started reading our AR books and then we wrote our homework in our agendas and went over it. Then the Ms. Booth read us a book about Columbus and his ships the Nina, Pinta, and the Santa Maria. We were doing a paragraph about it first we had to write things and evedince from the story and write it down on a piece of paper so we can write our paragraph. then after we did the Columbus notes we watched a movie about him and how he got to the Indias when we watched the movie we had to switch to math the end

Math
In our math class today we did our Daily Warm up and Common Core Quick check as soon as we sat down quietly in our seat. After a few minutes we began to correct our work with the help of our teacher. After we were done correcting our papers we wrote down our homework for the whole week in our agenda book. Then we did a lesson about estimating products of whole and decimals numbers and did the independent practice. We corrected the independent practice soon after everyone was done. After we were done correcting it we went out for lunch. When we came back from lunch we did sumdog on our computers for the rest of math class. That is what our class did at math today.
