Language Arts
When kids started coming in, we could have read books or we could do our class project of "The Storm on the Mediterranean Coast".
Then we went into our Then and Now booklet and circled important words and read a little about Dred Scott, his family, and about his past. He fought for his rights for slavery, and he won it after 10 years. He died a year later. Then we had to find 55 words to find, in an article and write into a long vowel worksheet and put the pattern it is. It took a long time. It was really fun. We corrected it altogether and it was fun. Then we went to math.
Math
When kids came into class, we took out our homework and corrected it. People made some silly mistakes, but then we got it. After we learned how to add exponents. It was easy but there's a lot of adding.
It took us the whole math class to finish the entire lesson! Then we went over it, and corrected it. then at the end we logged in into a website called scoot pad. We checked the leaderboard. I was part of the top ten. It was exciting. Then we went to homeroom.
Homeroom
We did a little of social studies and we learned about Cristopher Columbus. Our table is using him for our class project. Then we had to vote on student council.I wanted to be a part of it and I do not know who voted for me. I hope I win! Then we packed up and went home.
