Language Arts
When every one came into our class, we sat down quietly. Then class began. We got out our books and read for at least 20 minutes.

Then we got out our homework out and corrected it all. I got all the questions right. After  we took out our Then and Now booklet. We highlighted words and underlined words. We did both of those stuff to show the importance of education or where you live. Ms. Booth told us to choose one and I chose education is more important. It was for opinion, so nothing is right or wrong. Which one would you choose? I thought about and said you can learn lots of important things, you can go to good schools,  you can get money, and you can choose a good home, but in those days there was segregation.

We are very lucky laws have changed and our country is better and united with each other. We also received an article about a found ship in New York while they were digging. We answered  some questions. Then she gave us a worksheet about what we choose about which one is more important. and we had to write three quotes from the text and describe it. It was pretty easy. Then we reviewed our homework for tonight. We packed up and switched to math.

Math
Throughout math class we learned something and also got to do things as a class. We started math class by doing our warm up, problem of the day and common core quick check. Then we checked our homework and learned the distributive property of multiplication. The distributive property allows you to multiply a sum by a number. To do so, multiply each addend by the number. Then add. Next we made a social contrast. Social contrast is when the class shares rules that math class should be expected to follow. Last we looked at the scoot pad leader board.
